The Wildflower is a wedding/event venue located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. It is nestled among native pecan trees and rolling pastureland. It can accommodate both indoor and outdoor events up to 225 guests.
For us, what began as a love for decorating and entertaining turned into a love for serving couples and event planners. The Wildflower is a labor of love and is dedicated to providing the best customer service and a stress-free day to couples, families celebrating milestones and corporate companies at our farmhouse industrial venue in Oklahoma.
Initially, we, Rick and Cassie Sallee began with hosting a wedding at our home. When one became six, it was inevitable for us not to begin the talk of creating a barn wedding venue, which initially was supposed to also serve as an equipment barn. The keyword here is supposed to.
As a full-time physician assistant, I used the creation of this wedding venue in Oklahoma as a way to express my creativity, as decorating has always been my creative outlet. This was just decorating on a (very) magnified scale! And I made sure to have my hand in as many aspects as possible.
I was able to design and create The Wildflower with my vision in mind, starting with drawings and floorplans, a simple CAD design and taking it to the builder to see our vision come to life. From the floorplan to the chandeliers to the barn doors - all of the details were created by the vision from our family with love. My husband, Rick, has been an amazing team partner through the design and construction, being the practical mind and foreseeing problems before I could even envision them. Our collaboration, along with our team is a reason why we are able to provide the best possible service to our clients.
When looking for places to get married in Oklahoma, The Wildflower is the venue for you, from do-it-yourself to full coordination and full service of your event and event space. Our wedding packages start at $4000 and include space for your wedding ceremony and reception. If you want to host your event outside, a patio with concrete flooring is also an option to host your wedding event. We also offer on-site lodging, including 2 cabins, as well as, 2 queen suites, and 4 RV hook-ups.
